El cometa Cometa C/2014 S2 (PANSTARRS) fotografiado el 9 de Abril de 2016 con un brillo de magnitud 10 y una coma de 5′ de diámetro, todavía mostrando una doble cola de polvo debido a la cercanía de la Tierra a su plano orbital: la cola proyectada (tipo II) de 15′ hacia el sureste y la cola de rastro (tipo III) de 7′ hacia el norte.
