Cometa C/2013 X1 PANSTARRS (18-May-2016)

Comet 252P/LINEAR imaged on May 16 2016, since my last image taken one month ago the comet is now 8 times less brilliant, from magnitude 6 to 9, in the same way that its fuzzy greenish coma has decreased from a diameter of 45 to only 10 arcminutes.

Cometa C/2013 X1 PANSTARRS (11-May-2016)

Comet C/2013 X1 (PANSTARRS) imaged on May 11 2016, in spite of bad weather when I took the image with high humidity and poor transparency, is possible see its two tails: the dust tail toward up left with more than half degree, and the ion tail toward down right which showing several jets in its begining, and although faint is prolonged al least a pair of degrees until the bright star Phi Aquarii with magnitude 4. The comet has a brightness of magnitude 7 and will be increasing next days because is approaching to Earth.
