Cometa C/2014 S2 PANSTARRS (3-Jun-2016)

Comet C/2014 S2 (PANSTARRS) imaged on June 3 2016 when its brightness has dropped until near magnitude 12. Likewise its look has waned since the last image I took two months ago: coma has been reduced to only 2 arcminutes, and the dust tails have merged in a small fan that opens from East to North.

Cometa C/2014 S2 PANSTARRS (9-Abr-2016)

Comet C/2014 S2 (PANSTARRS) imaged on April 9 2016, with a brightness of magnitude 10 and a coma of 5′ diameter, the comet still showing a twin dust tail because to closeness of Earth to its orbital plane: the thrown tail (type II) of 15′ toward southeast and the trail tail (type III) of 7′ toward north.

Cometa C/2014 S2 PANSTARRS (8-Mar-2016)

Comet C/2014 S2 (PANSTARRS) imaged on March 8th 2016, with a brightness around magnitude 9.5 and a coma of 5′ diameter everytime more white, shows a short dust tail towards southeast (to down-right) a a faint anti-tail towards north (upwards) because the approximation of Earth to its orbital plane.
